2025 Photo Recap

Photography has always been something I love. Whether it’s looking at it, or creating it. Both give you such a unique experiences, and tend to make me jealous if it is someone else’s photo. XP Capturing the beauty of a scene forever makes me so freaking happy, especially when I can just keep looking at it over, and over again. One of my high school electives I want to do is actually photography! The beauty of a photo never fades, well, unless you accidently delete it. 💀

I mostly prefer taking pictures of scenery, and my dogs -people are just so difficult- but some of my favorite photos I have ever taken are of ones my brother (we’ll call him E from now on) when he’s unaware. I have this one of him where he’s open mouth laughing, and it just fills me with joy every time I see it. He’s very camera shy, so I rarely get raw moments with him. He is also the subject of my first great silhouette photo!

(This was taken a few years ago)

I actually didn’t do a lot of photography in 2025 -if you exclude the week my family and me went on vacation and I took hundreds, probably even thousands of photos. XD I might have went a bit overboard, but you never know if the first photo you take is good, and a moment only lasts so long. Even though I didn’t take many, there are some really go ones!

While I am restricted from posting photos with my face (I actually take a surprising amount of selfies), here are a bunch of photos of scenery and our dogs! (Also, they are not in date order, just the random order my computer put them in…)

This was my breakfast for my birthday!! My mom made me purple cinnamon rolls, and bacon. It was THE BEST.

These were an April fools day prank on my dad!

Jackson, laying in a suitcase just looking cute. (I actually didn’t take this one, but it was just to cute to leave out.)

My baby (Violet) crossing her paws adorably.

He looks repulsed by me…… (Btw that is Benny)

This was one of the dogs I did my 4H poster bored on. She is (was?) the youngest dog at a shelter near me.

Rosie again. <3

And again. XP

This is (was?) another dog at the shelter. He/she is so beautiful.

Another one. 😭

This guy was also in my poster bored! His name is Buddy, and he was VERY chaotic.

I blinded myself for this photo.

I also blinded myself for this one…

And this one…. It’s a really pretty photo though! All of them were totally worth the semi-blind moments.

My brothers’, and dad’s shadows.

This might be a bit weird, but I found this sign hilarious. XD

Cute little Jackson was tired, and his poor little paws needed a break. So, he curled up on my backpack. 💖

I love this photo so much. It’s a tiny little stream if you couldn’t tell. A trickle really.

Meeee! Except, it’s my shadow. I had bubble braids that day!

Me again! This one turned out so good.

It’s Lemon! She looks so adorable, look at the little lifted up foot. Priceless. Some of the best photos of dogs are when you catch their tongue mid lick.

Lemon again, with better lighting this time.

My youngest brother (we shall call him K) gave the tree arms!

Beauty. ✨

More beauty.

And even more!

Tillie is such a silly dog when she’s comfortable.

Lemon with her tongue out again. It’s an even better photo this time.

Spooder!

Jackson got so tired, the poor little guy. <3

A moth! On my youngest brother’s dirty hand…..

I can’t believe I got a photo of him mid leap, it’s astounding.

Jackson and Tillie! Jackson looks so cute in this one, that little noes touch to the bed is adorable.

There’s the tongue action again!

The snow looks so freaking magical, the whole photo does to be honest. The only things I would change is the neon orange shock collar…..

Sweet little Benny coming down to find out what I was doing. He was not a fan of staying in front of the camera. XD

Window photo!

Another one!! This one has a snowflake this time.

Same place, different photo!

🎶Snow, snow, snow, snoww.🎶 This must have been in January, because we got no good snow later in the year.

My gorgeous baby.

I love her so much. 💕

She is also hilarious sometimes.

Fake tattoo I had, that I want to get as a real tattoo someday!

I did not blind myself with this one! And it’s just breathtaking.

Same day, later time, same car. XP

Car trip! We passed a giant basket building.

Also our car trip! Just at the end. It should look familiar caused I used it for a blog post cover!

Just a random picture of a stack of my books! I read this series with my brother.

My Violet, in a bed of violets. 💜 (I didn’t take this one though 😭)

I really hope you guys liked all the photos! I know I love them. Each one has it’s own special memory that I will be reminded of every time I look at the photo. I hope to take even more photos this year, and maybe even start my photography class! (over the summer maybe?) That’s all I have for now, may God bless you, and may your days -and photos- be full of the beauty he has created.

  1. Love them all! The bubble braid shadows are really fun.

(Ps that’s a butterfly not a moth 😉 I know you really wanted to know that)
