Life has been hectic, and I just keep pushing this off. It’s sad how things I love that take effort get forgotten. I hope to get back into a routine soon though! Meanwhile, here are the many things I read in March.

The Good Earth by Pearl S. Buck 3.5/5 stars. It was interesting to see how this book turned out; I was not expecting some of these major turns. The story itself followed a farmer who started out humble and happy, but ended up rich and suffering. It’s crazy how much money can affect a person. I’m always wishing to be rich, but this book makes you think, maybe we really wouldn’t be able to turn out any different from those who are already rich.

A Wizard of Earthsea Ursula K. Le Guin 3.5/5 stars. After years of being asked to read this book, I’ve finally completed it! For starters I must say it was a good; not horrible, but not amazing either. One of the reasons it didn’t catch hold of my interest is because I took such a long time to read it through. I think if I read it again, I would enjoy it more. But as for this read, I’m not even very interested in reading the next one. Sorry man. XD

Spin The Dawn by Elizabeth Lim 3/5 stars. Honestly, really not a fan of this one. It took me forever to read, I just wasn’t that into it, and it ended on a pretty big cliffhanger. Personally, I don’t want to read the next book. I think that this is another case of “maybe if I read it again.” But I don’t think I ever will.

The Ancient Magus’ Bride (Volume 15-19) Kore Yamazaki average of 4.2/5 stars. AAAAAAAHH. Y’all. I’ve read every single book in this series that’s available. Also, I DISCOVERED THE TV SHOW. Now that I’m watching the TV show, I can see clearly that their were two major story plots. I’m SO EXCITED to read the next story line!!!

Speak: The Graphic Novel by Laurie Halse Anderson 5/5 stars. This book was breathtaking. It was beautiful, depressing, and so very real. I would put it down, and wonder what was making me so depressed. lol I am going to ask my mom to approve the actual book next. Though be warned, this book does go on the heavy side of somethings.

Persuasion by Jane Austen 3/5 stars. Not my favorite out of all I’ve read, and I took it to slow so I kept forgetting things. XD But it’s Jane Austen, so it was good! It’s so crazy how it wasn’t until like the second last chapter that the romance solidified.

CURRENTLY READING:

The Golden Compass by Philip Pullman – 75%

A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens – 63 pages out of 399

The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexander Dumas – 33 pages out of 1,276

The Bible – 108 pages out of 1,573

Tracks: A Woman’s Solo Trek Across 1,700 Miles of Australian Outback by Robyn Davidson – 128 pages out of 288

Dawnsong by Ruth S.
