This is probably the fourth or fifth time I’ve read this book, and it’s still soo good! It might even get better each time I read it. Is so cheesy, sweet, and just perfect. I love the plot, characters, and even the writing is good! -Which is a bit unusual for modern romance books- Overall, a great book!

The Ancient Magus’ Bride Vol. 8-11 by Kore Yamazaki average is about 3.5 stars. I absolutely LOVE this series. The characters, the plot, the art, all of it is just so good. I’ve slowed down recently because I haven’t had as much time to read it, and also I’ve said before, but long series’ can be a bit tedious for me. XD I’m working my way through book 12!

What Light by Jay Asher 4/5 stars. This book is so sweet, it has a pretty good focus on friendships, and the amount of Christmas spirit this book has is THE BEST. The book does have a bit of a hard topic that is there for some drama, but it’s not to bad. But what I think what I love most about this book is the Christmas spirit!

Rule #9: You Can’t Misinterpret a Mistletoe Kiss (The Rules of Love #9) by Anne-Marie Meyer 3/5 stars. This book is super junkie, the writing sucked, some of the characters were just jerk, and it had a horrible narrator. Buuuut, it’s a Christmas romance, and it does have some sweet moments. 💖 I would definitely only listen to this book if all I wanted was something junkie. It also like my second time (3rd maybe?) reading it. XP

The Encanto’s Daughter (The Encanto’s Daughter #1) by Melissa De La Cruz 4/5 stars. This book was so good, the writing , character, plot, all of it was exactly what I was looking for. It did leave kind of a big -but kind of expected- cliff hanger sadly, and I read the synopsis for book two…. I’m not sure I will be reading it. But the first book, SO GOOD.

The Cerulean (Cerulean #1) by Amy Ewing 3/5 stars. This was a pretty good book, an interesting plot for sure. It does get a bit depressing with how the main character is treated, and there are moments where you’re silently (or maybe verbally? XP) screaming no over, and over. It also does touch hard on how we treat people who are different then us.

It seems that I did not read many books in December. XD I blame it one being sick for a week, and just the general stress and business of the holiday. I’m sure I shall have read more this month!

CURRENTLY READING:

Persuasion by Jane Austen – (reading with one of my best friends, and my mom! 💜) 113 pages out of 249

Tracks: A Woman’s Solo Trek Across 1,700 Miles of Australian Outback by Robyn Davidson – (free read) 98 pages out of 288

Three Men In A Boat by Jerome K.
